-Why did you decide to study at Universidad ORT Uruguay?

-I decided to study at ORT because I received very positive recommendations from people who were already attending the university. I was also drawn to ORT’s location, as well as its facilities and organization.

-How did the idea to become a certified public accountant come about?

-I completed my junior year of high school in the Science track and then my senior year in the Engineering track at Maristas High School. I wasn’t quite sure whether to pursue Systems Engineering or Economics, since I was interested in both fields. During the middle of my senior year, I began to learn more about these two fields through conversations with various professionals, until I finally decided to study Public Accounting.

-How did the race go for you?

-The program is interesting and manageable. Overall, the instructors were willing to help and taught the classes with great enthusiasm and dedication.

-What do you think of the university's facilities?

-I am very satisfied with everything related to the program and the university. The facilities are excellent—very comfortable and welcoming. As for the university staff, I would like to highlight their kindness, respect, and helpfulness.

-What do you remember about the race?

-I would like to highlight the excellent organization and the high-quality materials used in the course. In addition, the required assignments provide a great opportunity to apply what we’ve learned in the course through research and practical work, as well as to learn how to collaborate with others in the group and discuss different perspectives.

-When did you start working?

-I started working at Deloitte in May 2010 as an Assistant 3 in the Audit department.

-Have you changed jobs?

-I'm still working at Deloitte, although I'm now an Audit Assistant 2.

-Do you think ORT prepared you for the job market?

-Absolutely. What I learned at ORT was incredibly helpful and complementary to my work, and it helped me grow as a person. You learn how to work as part of a team, and that’s very important these days.

-What are your plans for the future?

-For now, I’d like to continue working at Deloitte. In the future, I’d also be interested in pursuing a graduate degree or some other form of continuing education.
