At 23 years old, she has a college degree, works at a consulting firm, helps out at her family’s business, and is a member of the Family Business Administration department. In two of her roles, Ana Laura combines managing market research with the responsibilities involved in the imports division.
In June 2004, while still an upperclassman, she began working at the consulting firm Metrix Marketing after receiving an invitation from Dr. Pablo Fernández, a professor at her college. At Metrix, Ana heads the Market Research department. She is responsible for the preliminary evaluation of surveys, coordinating fieldwork staff, processing the results, and presenting them to clients.
"In the bachelor's program, we cover a wide range of topics and fields that prepare you to work with clients in the financial, food, or apparel industries. It's a program with a broad spectrum of courses that gives you a general understanding of how to handle different situations, how to work as part of a team, how to delegate, share opinions, and reach a consensus," says the graduate.
She works at the family business in Kielce, where she handles the importation of various personal care products; she arranges freight, insurance, and customs clearance, and tracks the shipment until the goods arrive at the company’s warehouse.
In the Family Business Administration department, he assists the instructor with practical classes and case presentations throughout the course.
Ana, who graduated in 2005, sums up her experience as follows: "The program gave me a very effective study method and helped me build excellent relationships with my classmates, professors, staff, and the university itself."
