SEPTEMBER 2012
The “Entrepreneurial Skills in Engineering” competition for practical exercises and educational interventions, organized by the Regional Program for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Engineering (PRECITYE), is an international competition featuring practical exercises and educational interventions designed to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in engineering programs in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Uruguay.
Deadline for submitting proposals: October 31, 2012.
All engineering faculty members from any of the four countries participating in the project are eligible to participate. Participation may be individual or in teams; in the latter case, a team leader must be designated. Faculty members from other disciplines may participate in the teams provided that the team leader is a current faculty member teaching an engineering course.
The contest has two categories:
1) Subject-specific exercises, intended for use in a single subject. To be accepted, each proposal must include a set of at least five exercises.
2) Cross-curricular pedagogical interventions. These are interventions that, in order to achieve their objectives, must necessarily be implemented across more than one subject.
In both cases, the objectives of the proposal must be related to the development of functional competencies in entrepreneurship and/or innovation.
