Interview with Architect Graziella Blengio in “Getting to Know Our Designers” (Addip)

The Interior Architect Graziella Blengio, instructor for Workshops 4 and 5 of the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of Universidad ORT Uruguay, participated in the program “Getting to Know Our Designers,” a series of interviews organized by the Association of Professional Interior Designers of Uruguay (Addip).

The program aims to highlight the work of Addip’s professional members and explores best practices, client relationships, and dialogues with suppliers, with the goal of building bridges within the interior design community in Uruguay.

In the interview, Blengio reflects on the ways in which interior design is crucial to improving people’s quality of life in indoor spaces, why interior design education should focus on developing designers’ capacity for reflection and critical thinking, and the adaptation of interior design in the post-COVID era.

Blengio also emphasizes the importance of continuing to learn and develop even after completing one’s formal education, finding in the community a place of belonging and continuous growth.
