Aldo A. Fierro, an engineer—a graduate of the EMBA (a blended-learning Executive MBA program) and an IT consultant for the Municipality of Montevideo—spoke about his professional experience and shared the skills he has gained from this graduate program.

"A few years ago, I chose engineering as my major.

Professionals in the technology field are often well-prepared to deal with dynamic changes. However, the day-to-day challenges faced by organizations in general manifest themselves from various perspectives. That is why it becomes absolutely essential to acquire a diverse skill set focused on the business world, but with a special emphasis on people.

The EMBA, a blended-learning Executive MBA program at Universidad ORT Uruguay, offered through its School of Graduate Business Studies, provided me with a wide range of tools. I was immersed in a well-balanced curriculum filled with positive experiences. This was thanks to the talented faculty and administrative staff.

As an Executive MBA, it allows you to connect and exchange ideas with peers who have several years of experience in their respective professional fields. Furthermore, its blended learning format makes it highly convenient for those of us who, due to various responsibilities, need more flexibility in our schedules.
