The university's volleyball team finished as runner-up in^{the 16th} University Sports Tournament

The basketball, men’s soccer, women’s 7-a-side soccer, and men’s volleyball teams from Universidad ORT Uruguay in the^16thUniversity Sports^Tournamentfrom April 5 to 7, 2019. The event was organized by the University of Montevideo with the support of the Colonia City Government. Teams from universities in Argentina and Uruguay, as well as invited institutions, competed in the tournament.

The men's volleyball team finished as runners-up, and the women's 7-a-side soccer team took third place, each in their respective sports.

The roster included Brandon Assandri, Martín Cladera, Mauricio Crisci, Iván Genta, Sebastián Matta, Yamin Nasr, Gonzalo Nieto, and Marcelo Roses.

The following teams participated in the tournament: Colonia Rowing, Colonia Voley, Juventud de Colonia, Valdense, Escuela Militar, Universidad Austral, Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales, Universidad de la República, Universidad de la Empresa, Universidad de Montevideo, and Universidad ORT Uruguay.
