
The teams from Universidad ORT Uruguay participated in the Latin American Regional Contest of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in Buenos Aires placed in the top 9.6% and 10.7%, respectively. The two ORT teams were the only ones representing Uruguay in the competition.
The teams representing ORT are the winners of the 19th ORT Programming Contest, which featured 15 teams from the Systems Engineering, Systems Science, Information Technology Analyst, and Programmer Analyst programs in the School of Engineering.
They were accompanied to Buenos Aires by Andrés de Sosa, who served as a coach for both teams, and by Dr. Inés Kereki, who was one of the judges for the competition.

They ranked in the top 9.6%—269th place (out of 2,795 teams)
Team 2: Bad Request
Members:
Marcel Cohen, Eusebio Durán, and Mauricio Pisabarro, systems engineering students
They ranked in the top 10.7%—300th place (out of 2,795 teams)
