Diego Castro, a senior in the Bachelor’s program in International Studies, was the only student from Uruguay selected to participate in the Program for Strengthening the Civil Service in Latin America, organized by the Botín Foundation of Spain.
The program begins on October 17, 2022, at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, and concludes on December 1, 2022, in Rio de Janeiro.
Upon graduating from the program, participants join the Latin American Public Servants Network. Currently, a total of 410 participants are making a positive impact in their respective countries, applying what they learned during the program’s training experience throughout the region.
The Botín Foundation supports a network of graduates committed to excellence, lifelong learning, and the pursuit of consensus for the common good as they work to strengthen the civil service.
