Student Makes the Finalist List in a NASA Competition

María Fernanda Laguarda, an architecture student, was a member of the Montevideo Group, which was a finalist in the NASA RAS_CAL competition.

The group is made up of students from the University of the Republic, UTU, and Universidad ORT Uruguay, in partnership with Rutgers University in New Jersey, United States.

El equipo quedó seleccionado entre 18 conjuntos para competir en "2010 RASC-AL Forum" (<em>Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts Academic Linkage</em>), que tendrá lugar en Cocoa Beach, Florida, del 7 al 10 de junio.

María Fernanda Laguarda, an architecture student, was a member of the Montevideo Group, which was a finalist in the NASA RAS_CAL competition.

The group is made up of students from the University of the Republic, UTU, and Universidad ORT Uruguay, in partnership with Rutgers University in New Jersey, United States.

The team was selected from among 18 teams to compete in the "2010 RASC-AL Forum" (Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts Academic Linkage), which will take place in Cocoa Beach, Florida, from June 7 to 10.

RASC-AL brings NASA’s engineering design challenges to life and provides a forum for engineering students across the United States to compete for the best solution.
