The project titled “Productivity, Yield, and Size: Evidence from Vegetable Farms in Canelones,” by Braulio Britos, received funding from ANII.

“The purpose of this study is to examine factor productivity in vegetable farms in Canelones,” said Britos.

“To achieve this goal, total factor productivity will be estimated using microdata from approximately 700 vegetable growers in the Canelones area,” he added.

The research is funded through the “Introductory Research Grants” program, which is designed to give advanced undergraduate students their first taste of research.
