Architecture students at the Ibero-American Architecture Biennial

May 31, 2004
The ORT School of Architecture has been accepted as a participant in the Ibero-American Architecture Biennial, Lima 2004, which will allow ORT students to attend.

Students will participate in the Online Architecture Ideas Competition.

This contest, aimed at students, focuses on social housing in Latin America.

The jury will place particular emphasis on creativity in proposing solutions to intractable problems such as migration, degraded areas, natural disasters, and wars.

Each participating school will submit two papers, selected internally.

Currently, teams of ORT students are working to enter an internal competition that will select the two projects to be submitted to the contest on July 30.

Students have described this contest as:

"A formative experience, both because of the challenge the project presented and because of the opportunity to compete internationally."
