A team of four students from the Master’s in Financial Management and the Master’s in Accounting and Finance programs at ORT’s Graduate School of Business is participating in the CFA Society Uruguay Ethics Challenge, which addresses various ethical dilemmas in the world of finance, many of which have been exacerbated by the health crisis.

The event, which began on August 18, 2021, is a competition among Uruguayan universities in which teams of graduate students in finance from three different institutions are participating.
The CFA Society Uruguay Ethics Challenge is a competition among teams from different universities in which participants must analyze a case involving ethical dilemmas and violations of the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. This is the first time this competition has been held in Uruguay.
Students must prepare a presentation based on their analysis and deliver it before a panel of judges. The presentation to the judges will take place on September 14, 2021.
