ORT Students Compete in International Programming Competition

On November 9, in Buenos Aires, a group of students from the School of Engineering participated in the ACM Regional Programming Contest.

The winning team of the ORT Programming Contest—composed of Systems Engineering students Adriana Peralta, Paola Radzinski, and Nicolas Macedo, accompanied by Programming Professor Inés Kerekirepresented Universidad ORT Uruguay.

The competition is held simultaneously at seven venues across South America, with more than 80 universities participating.

The host institutions are the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina; the University of São Paulo, Brazil; the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil; the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil; the University of Atacama, Chile; the University of Nueva Esparta, Venezuela; and the Lisandro Alvarado University, Venezuela.
