Student exchanges: What international students do

Four exchange students at Universidad ORT Uruguay conducting research and pursuing undergraduate degrees.

Students from the United States, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands study and conduct research at Universidad ORT Uruguay in Universidad ORT Uruguay through various student exchange programs

Guillian Hargett holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia in Atlanta. She is currently pursuing Universidad ORT UruguayBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design at ORT University in Uruguay with a scholarship from Rotary International.

Lars Schoening, an architecture student at Dortmund University, Germany. He is taking courses for the 8th semester of the Architecture program at ORT as part of a student exchange and internship agreement between the two universities.

Herminio Javier Fernández, holds a degree in Journalism from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).Selected by the Interuniversity Cooperation Program of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECI), he is conducting research at the School of Communication and Design on the Uruguayan press in comparison with the Spanish press.

Judith Maatman, a Communication Sciences student at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She is studyingcourses for theBachelor’s Degree in Communication at Universidad ORT Uruguay .
