The students were accompanied by Prof. Pedro Hidalgo, M.Sc.—Academic Director of the Global MBA program at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Chile—and Sandra Cifuentes—Executive Assistant at the University of Chile, FEN.
They attended the Digital Business seminar at the School of Business and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay as part of their university’s MBA International Study Seminar, which includes activities in various countries.
In 2023, students could choose between taking the High-Impact Leadership seminar at Icesi University (Cali, Colombia); the Digital Marketing seminar at Esade Business School (Barcelona, Spain); the Silicon Valley Immersion Program “Fostering Links Between the University of Chile and Silicon Valley” (San Francisco, United States); the “Challenges for Sustainable Finance” program in collaboration with ESC Clermont in France; or the Digital Business seminar at ORT.
They also visited the following locations: the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (where they attended a presentation by Viatik and Ventia), the Zonamerica campus (Zonamerica, Willinn – Zonamerica Tecnología, and CAE), the Uruguay Technology Laboratory (Ceibal, NewLab Uruguay, and Genexus), and Prometeo, an open banking startup.
