The exhibition "Impulse for Digital and Electronic Art" opened

On Friday, March 18, the exhibition of works selected for the "Impulso al Arte Digital y Electrónico" call for entries—organized jointly by the National Museum of Visual Arts and the Contemporary Art Space in September 2021—opened.

The works *Aigua*, by Magdalena Hart, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, and Bitriol by Leticia Almeida, a professor in the Bachelor’s Program in Design, Art, and Technology, created in collaboration with Mathías Chumino, were selected for the Impulso al Arte Digital y Electrónico call for entries, organized by the National Museum of Visual Arts and the Contemporary Art Space.

The 10 selected proposals received the funding requested for their production and were supported by technical advisors who guided the artists through the process until the projects were completed and installed. Jimena Arruti, a professor in the Bachelor’s Program in Design, Art, and Technology, served in this capacity.

The jury that selected the works for this exhibition was composed of renowned experts in the field, including Fabián Barros, M.A., academic coordinator of Design, Art, and Technology.

The exhibition will be open from March 18 to June 5, 2022, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Contemporary Art Space (EAC).
