September 1, 2009
From August 28 to September 14, the ORT Pocitos lobby hosted an exhibition of the final projects for Project 9 of the Architecture program, which focused on the renovation of the building housing the main synagogue of the Sephardic Jewish Community of Uruguay, located at 234 Buenos Aires Street.

From August 28 to September 14, an exhibition of the final models for Project 9 of the Architecture program was held in the lobby of ORT Pocitos. The project’s theme was the renovation of the building housing the main synagogue of the Sephardic Jewish Community of Uruguay, located at 234 Buenos Aires Street.

The School of Architecture signed an agreement with the Sephardic Jewish Community of Uruguay, through which students in the Project 9 and Final Architecture Project courses, taught by Prof. Roberto Monteagudo, chose the building’s renovation as their project theme. The models on display correspond to the first phase of this agreement.
