Exhibition by visual artist Bernando Korzeniak

July 31, 2002
Starting on July 24, an exhibition by visual artist Bernardo Korzeniak will be on display at the Universidad ORT Uruguay exhibition space on the Downtown Campus (1451 Cuareim).

Bernardo Korzeniak, a professor and laboratory coordinator at the School of Communication and Design at Universidad ORT Uruguay, has been praised for his creative approaches and artistic expressions.

Tony Cavanaugh described the artist in the contemporary art magazine ARTSPEAK in January 1998 as:

"An artist with a passion for sensual forms, he skillfully harmonizes subtle images and textures that speak for themselves of a holistic and gestural world. His rhythmically balanced abstractions transcend the rectangular frame, introducing a rich and varied visual vocabulary that delights the eye."

Furthermore, Cavanaugh, in his praise, considers him to be "someone who, with unusual skill, reintroduces a sense of geometry and beauty that has been largely forgotten in contemporary art."
