“Nomadic Design” Exhibition by Industrial Design Students

July 23, 2012
From July 16 to 27, 2012, the "Nomadic Design" exhibition, organized by third-year Industrial Design students in the Bachelor of Industrial Design program, was held in the Design School Hall.

It consisted of prototypes and models based on the popular “RTA” (“ready to assemble”) furniture concept, which is compatible with eco-design and sustainability guidelines in its production process.

The proposals stemmed from people’s need for furniture they can buy, move, and assemble themselves, which reduces costs and makes it easier to take apart for relocation to a new home or, if necessary, store in a warehouse.
