The SNI, which operates under the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), promotes the classification and financial support of researchers, the generation of knowledge across all fields, and the strengthening and expansion of the national scientific community.
Faculty of Engineering
25 faculty members and researchers from the School of Engineering are affiliated with the SNI.
Dr. Lorena Betancor, professor of Protein Technology, was promoted to Level III of the SNI; Magdalena Ripoll, M.Sc., a graduate in Biotechnology Engineering and research teaching assistant, and Dr. Ana Paula Mulet, deputy coordinator of the Biotechnology Laboratory, were admitted to the Initiation Level; Dr. Martín Solari, associate professor of Software Engineering, was reappointed at Level I; and Dr. Fernando Paganini, vice dean of Research, was reappointed at Level III.
