Federico Lamaison, one of Uruguay's top ten most effective marketers in 2024

The industry publication adlatina.com recently published a study recognizing the most outstanding marketing professionals in Latin America.  

In its 2024 edition, the study named Federico Lamaison as one of Uruguay’s ten most effective marketers. He ranked second on the list. 

He currently serves as the Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Banco Santander and is a professor in the School of Communication at Universidad ORT Uruguay. 

The selection is based on a rigorous analysis of the results from the Effie Awards Latin America and the local Effie Awards chapters throughout the year.

The study, described as an“exclusive investigation,aims to identify the top professionals who have demonstrated marketing effectiveness throughout the region. 

A professional with solid training and international experience 

A graduate of Universidad ORT Uruguay, Federico Lamaison has combined his professional career with university teaching, bringing his experience to the classroom.

With nearly three decades of experience in the advertising industry, his career began in 1992 at Viceversa Young & Rubicam.

He later worked at Garnier BBDO in Costa Rica and DDB Chile, and served as CEO of Havas Uruguay for more than ten years. He also worked at Punto Ogilvy before taking on his current role at Banco Santander in April 2019. 

This recognition from Adlatina underscores the significance of his work in both the corporate and academic spheres.
