The 8th edition of the ICT Job Fair, designated as being of educational interest by the Ministry of Education and Culture (see Resolution), was held with great success on September 24, 2013.
This initiative is designed to connect students and graduates with the job market, improving their chances of finding employment and advancing their careers.
Participating companies include technology firms and other organizations capable of hiring individuals with backgrounds in information and communications technology.
Leading technology companies and consulting firms were present with booths where they provided information on job opportunities to students and graduates. In addition, some booths featured games and innovative presentations that caught the attention of many young people. The company Moove-iT challenged attendees to solve a logic puzzle, while UruIT presented a taskboard where young people could post notes explaining what kind of work they’d love to do and what technology they use; in another section of the board, they could leave their contact information to enter a raffle for a Kindle.
