In this context, the "Defying Loans " project from the Systems Engineering program won the award for best undergraduate thesis in the field of Systems Engineering. It was carried out by Fabián Levinsky, Florencia Ojeda, and Darío Wisznewer under the supervision of Álvaro Ortas, M.Sc.
The project involves developing an app that, through a marketplace, enables users to grant loans to individuals by using an NFT as collateral. NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are digital assets certified using blockchain technology.
In addition, two other Systems Engineering projects received honorable mentions:
- Ahorzanza: Personal finance manager, developed by Franco Galeano, Martín Gutman, Agustín Hernandorena, Joaquín Lamela, and Santiago Rugnitz
- Ariadne’s Thread: An organizational management tool for Qualabs developed by Valentina Chalela, Keshet Hertz, Evengeny Sidagis, and Patrick Silveira.
