The School of Communication announced the winners of the "Tenés Historias para Contar" contest.
This year's theme invited participants to share a story about a significant moment in their lives: it could be an experience of their own or someone else's—something positive, challenging, difficult, or simply memorable.
The stories could feature real or fictional characters, allowing for creative freedom.
First Prize: I Know Art Exists
Camila López, from Crandon High School, won first prize for her project *I Know Art Exists*.
His talent was recognized with an 80% scholarship to pursue a degree at the School of Communication at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
Second Prize: Your Reflection
Second prize went to Balian Riephoff Jali Yeye, from Liceo Integral Barros Blancos, for his project Your Reflection.
His dedication earned him a 50% scholarship to attend college.
Third Prize: A Significant Moment in Life
Vicente Ansolabehere, a student at the Miguel C. Rubino High School in Durazno, was awarded third prize for his project *An Important Moment in Life*, earning a 30% scholarship.
Fourth Prize: An Inherited Story
Fourth place went to Julieta Moreira Di Stasio, a student at Liceo 1 José María Campos in Soriano, who won a 20% scholarship for her story An Inherited Story.
Additional prizes
All contest participants received a 15% scholarship in recognition of their participation.
In addition, during the creative process, they had the support of a mentor to help them develop their stories.
