On Thursday, September 30, 2021, the structural testing of the entries submitted for the 3rd edition of the Spaghetti Challenge, organized by the School of Architecture at Universidad ORT Uruguay, took place.
The jury awarded three prizes based on the structural integrity of the spaghetti-based designs. Milagros Godiño took first place and was awarded a 50% scholarship to study architecture or interior design. The team consisting of Anna Beare and Zoe Villaronga took second place, while the team of Dylan Fairless and Agustín De La Vega took third.
The competition received entries from 15 participating teams, and five projects were evaluated in the endurance test. All winners received a full scholarship to take the course “Architectural Projects Using BIM Methodology.”
