"First River Plate Conference on the History of 20th-Century Soccer"

From September 13 to 15, 2011, the "First River Plate Conference on the History of 20th-Century Soccer," organized by the company Tenfield, took place in the Communication Auditorium. The event spanned three days, during which experts and sports journalists gave presentations on the history and development of soccer in Argentina and Uruguay. The event was led by Prof. Leonardo Haberkorn, Academic Coordinator of Journalism at the School of Communication and Design. The conference concluded with the founding of the Association of Researchers and Historians of Uruguayan Soccer (AIHFU).
