The lecture "Functional Analysis: A Multidisciplinary Approach" will take place on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at 6:30 p.m.

The event, which will take place in the Auditorium at the Downtown Campus, will be led by Nancy Ibarra, a professor and coordinator of the Professional Development Program in Functional Analysis

The conference will highlight the need for a variety of approaches in projects aimed at implementing business solutions on IT systems.

Some topics to be covered include:

  • Integration of different disciplines, themes, and methodologies into functional design, such as:
      • Organization
      • Project Management (in accordance with standards defined by PMI)
      • Technology
      • Business
      • Information Systems
      • Organizational Change Management
  • The Role of the Functional Analyst - A Process Perspective
  • A discussion of techniques and methodology for achieving a functional vision
