A recent graduate has been appointed audience strategy editor for the Business and Technology section at The Washington Post

Maite Fernández, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the School of Communication and Design at Universidad ORT Uruguay a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Maryland, joined the editorial staff of The Washington Post as an Operations Editor in the International desk in May 2018. In November 2022, she became the audience strategy editor for the Business and Technology section.

The Washington Post is the largest and oldest newspaper in the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C., as well as one of the most prominent newspapers in the United States.
