Álvaro Barba, who holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the School of Management and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay, was appointed by the President of the Republic, Dr. Luis Lacalle Pou, as Uruguay’s ambassador to Cuba. The appointment took place on July 26, 2021.
