A graduate won first prize in the 2017 AppCircus competition

The "Yo Calculo" app, led by Mathías Lehrer, a graduate of the Bachelor's program in Information Systems, was the winner of the 2017 AppCircus competition, which took place on December 5, 2017, at the Alliance Française.

Yo Calculo was named the best Uruguayan app of the year, offering a solution that simplifies tax filing and financial management for individuals and sole proprietorships. As a prize, Lehrer received a pass to the 2018 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and a Samsung Galaxy S8.

In the 2013 edition of this competition, Paganza was the winning app, developed by Marcelo Lanfranconi, a graduatein Systems Engineering; and in the 2014 edition, GPS Gay was the winning app, led by Magdalena Rodríguez, a graduate in Graphic Design, and Rosario Monteverde, a graduate in Systems Engineering.
