A graduate represented Uruguay at the 3rd International Pitch Competition

Alexis Valín, co-founder of Workifit and a graduate of ORT’s Systems Engineering program and Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, participated.

On May 29, 2021, the 3rd edition of the International Pitch Competition took place. The event was organized by the Spring Network, a Latin American network of graduate schools recognized for their focus on innovation and entrepreneurship, of which the Graduate School of Business (EPN) at Universidad ORT Uruguay a member.

Representing Uruguay was Alexis Valín, co-founder of Workifit and a graduate of ORT’s Systems Engineering program and Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

On this occasion, the event was hosted by the Universidad del Desarrollo in Chile. The following are the nine finalist entrepreneurs who presented their pitches to a jury of international investors and then held one-on-one meetings with each of them:
