Last December, Juan Michelini, associate professor of Computer Science, and José Solsona, research assistant in Computer Science, received grants from the National Agency for Research and Innovation to support their doctoral studies in computer science, conducted as part of the PEDECIBA program.
The scholarship consists of a monthly stipend for two or three years, respectively.
Juan Michelini holds a Master's degree in Engineering (Research Track) from Universidad ORT Uruguay his doctoral thesis will be supervised by Dr. Álvaro Tasistro.
José Solsona also holds a Master's degree in Research Engineering from ORT, and his doctoral studies will be supervised by Álvaro Tasistro and Sergio Yovine.
