Graduates received honorable mentions in the National Crafts Award Poster Design Contest

María Lucía Boiani and Lucía Franco Fuidio, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design program, were awarded honorable mentions in the 2020 National Crafts Award Poster Design Competition, organized by the National Directorate of Crafts, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining (MIEM).

The jury was composed of Fernando Díaz, a graduate and instructor in the Bachelor’s Program in Graphic Design at ORT University; María Eugenia Ferreiro, representing the School of Architecture, Design, and Urban Planning at the University of the Republic; architect Andrés Rubilar, from the University of the Enterprise; designer Betiana Cuadra, representing the Uruguayan Chamber of Design; Cecilia Pagliari, representing the National Advisory Commission on Handicrafts; and architect Mauro Escudero Lacroix, representing the Handicraft Development Division of MIEM-Dinapyme.
