At the book presentation, the author addressed questions such as what specific characteristics of anti-Semitism cause it to resurface time and again in different parts of the world. During the lecture, the speaker traced the path from the beginning to the establishment of the State of Israel, seventy years after its founding. Both events took place at 7:30 p.m. on the university’s Pocitos campus (2633 España Blvd.).
Perednik is a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (cum laude), and completed his Ph.D. in Philosophy in New York. He studied the humanities at the Sorbonne (France), San Marcos (Peru), and Uppsala (Sweden). He was recognized as an outstanding professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is the author of numerous books and articles.
