The event featured a discussion session moderated by Andrés Bancalari, coordinator of ORT’s Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, with the participation of writer René Fuentes, an ORT faculty member, and Roberto Cyjon, a visiting professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay.

The speakers emphasized that Western civilization is the result of Hellenism and the value added by the Jewish contribution.
Perednik holds a Doctorate in Education from Universidad ORT Uruguay and is the author of twenty books, some of which are bestsellers, have been translated into several languages, and have won international awards. He is a visiting professor at Universidad ORT Uruguay.
