Marcelo Fontes, a management technician and property manager at COPIJSUD, spoke about his professional and academic experiences.

-In what year did you decide to study at Universidad ORT Uruguay, and why?

-I began my studies in 2006 and chose to attend ORT based on recommendations from friends and former students at the university.

-What did you value most about college?

-Given its national and international reputation, I definitely believe it is the best option in Uruguay.

-How did you come up with the idea of pursuing this degree?

-I've always been interested in business administration, and the program fit my needs in terms of timing and admission requirements.

-How did the race go for you?

-Very comprehensive; it covers the main topics.

-What do you remember about your college days?

-Actually, there are many things, since I apply what I’ve learned every day in my work, but what stands out most to me is the quality of the instructors—they’re truly highly qualified.

-What would you highlight about the program?

-The quality of the instructors, and especially the fact that they are professionals who, while teaching, are also active in the workforce. I think that’s a huge plus.

-When did you start working?

-In 2007.

-How did your degree prepare you for the job market?

-All right, I think that if you make the most of it, you can gain not only knowledge but also many valuable contacts in the job market.

-What are your plans for the future?

-I plan to continue my studies and likely pursue a bachelor's degree in Management and Administration.
