The Biotechnology Bachelor’s Degree Program at Universidad ORT Uruguay hosted a lecture titled “Incubation of Biotechnology Companies at the University of Quilmes: A Case Study,” presented by Dr. Marcos Bilen, an assistant professor at the National University of Quilmes.
The event took place on Friday, June 21, at 3:00 p.m. in the seminar room at ORT Centro (1451 Cuareim).
In the context of technology transfer from academia to industry, a specific case study involving the University of Quilmes in Argentina and the company Productos Biológicos SA was presented. A historical overview of the company’s development was provided, and the main obstacles it faced were analyzed.
