Informational session on the "Industrialized Construction" course

On April 28, an informational session was held at the School of Architecture regarding the "Industrialized Construction" course, which begins on May 10. The course is designed for construction professionals interested in updating their construction techniques through the use of panelized structures made with lightweight galvanized steel profiles.

Throughout the course, participants will study the concepts of design, assembly, and construction management related to these structures.

The course is led by Architect Santiago Horjales, a specialist in dry construction systems both in Chile and abroad. He is the director of GBS Construcciones, a company specializing in dry construction that has ISO 9001:2000 has . 

He also teaches at the School of Architecture in the areas of traditional construction and dry construction systems. He is a researcher in the field of hospital architecture. He has served as an advisor and consultant to the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization.
