International Visiting Professors at the School of Management and Social Sciences

In February and March 2018, visiting professors from Torcuato Di Tella University (Argentina), the University of Talca (Chile), the University of Deusto (Spain), the University of Valencia (Spain), and Stanford University (United States) taught classes at the School of Management and Social Sciences.

In this regard, Carolina Bellora, a professor of graduate-level courses in Organizational Design and Development, Change Management, and Strategy at Torcuato Di Tella University and the ESADE Business School’s Buenos Aires campus, taught the course “Strategic Human Capital Management” as part of the Master’s in Human Resources Management and the Master’s in Business Administration - MBA from February 5 to 8 and February 19 to 22, 2018. Bellora holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and serves as Director and Human Capital Practice Leader at Tantum Strategy & Results in Buenos Aires.

In addition, Dr. Leticia Britos, associate director of the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation at Stanford University, taught the course “Entrepreneurial Mindset” as part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from February 5 to 9, 2018. Britos is a researcher at Stanford University and holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology from the same university.

In addition, José Luis Eguía, a professor of Comparative Tax Administration in the Master’s Program in Tax Management and Planning at the University of Talca, taught the course on Transfer Pricing as part of the Specialization Diploma in Taxation on February 8, March 1, and March 8, 2018. Eguía is a member of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies and co-author of the Manual of Transfer Pricing in Argentina.

For his part, Dr. José Plá, professor of Business Organization at the University of Valencia, taught the course “Internationalization Strategy” as part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from February 19 to 23, 2018. Plá holds a Ph.D. in Economics and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Commercial Distribution from the University of Valencia. He is the director of the university’s Doctoral Program in Business Management.

In addition, Dr. Roberto Bernales, a professor of tax law at the University of Deusto in Spain, taught the course “Anti-Abuse Measures and Double Taxation Agreements” as part of the Specialization Diploma in Taxation from February 19 to 26, 2018. Bernales holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of the Basque Country, an Advanced Master’s in International Taxation from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and a Bachelor of Law with a specialization in Legal and Economic Studies from the University of Deusto.
