Under the slogan “Launch Your Career!”, the event was organized, as it is every year, by the faculty’s Graduate Affairs Office and received a declaration of support from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
The main objective of this initiative is to support the business sector by providing a platform that connects students and graduates with companies that are constantly seeking to recruit new talent.
This is the only university-level event that connects companies with technology professionals. It is aimed exclusively at students and graduates of the college, which has established the Fair as the leading event in the sector for building employer brands and recruiting talent among the most in-demand professionals in the market.
For this event, the space allocated to companies was expanded, as there were more than 58 booths and an estimated 2,000 students attended.
At around 8:00 p.m., the award ceremony for the best company—as voted by the students during the event—took place. This year, the award went to Sabre, and Jetmar was also honored for being the Fair’s main sponsor.
The event concluded with an audiovisual presentation tied to this year's theme.
The participating companies were: República AFAP, Innovant, BBVA, Quantik, 1NCE, Descartes, Endava, Moove It, Pedidos Ya, Código del Sur, UKG, Arnaldo Castro, Combined Ratio Solutions, Xmartlabs, Somnio Software, Dualboot Partners, December Labs, Montevideo Labs, Perficient, Intermedia, Jetmar, Qualabs, PwC, Topaz, Smart Talent, Santander, Urudata, BASF, Houlak, TATA, Marco, Zimmic, Light-it, CIEMSA, AstroPay, Integer Holdings Corporation, Goodlife, CIE, FNC, Modelit, Oktana, CreateThrive, Koibanx, X Uruguay, Baufest, Sabre, GlobalUY, ANDA, THESE, Network of Inclusive Companies of Uruguay, Pyxis, Experis, Rootstrap, Atos, Tata Consultancy Services, and ST Consultores.
