Webinar: “Knowmads: The Workers of the Future”

On Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 5:00 p.m., the videoconference “Knowmads: The Workers of the Future” will take place at the School of Communication and Design (1185 Uruguay Ave.).

The session will be led by Raquel Roca, a lecturer in the Digital Marketing Expert graduate program at IEDE Business School in Spain, and a faculty member and coordinator of the Master’s in Talent Management in the Digital Age at La Salle International Graduate School & LIDlearning in Spain.

By 2033, 66% of the workforce will be millennials, and in 20 years, 47% of jobs will have been replaced. Innovators and entrepreneurs are emerging. The worker of the future is a knowledge worker—what Ms. Roca calls a “knowmad.”

Roca holds a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is the author of the book *Knowmads: The Workers of the Future*.She has worked at various media outlets, including TVE (Emprende),Cosmopolitan, ELLE, *Yo Dona* (El Mundo), Grupo Planeta, Tele5, Canal Sur, *La Estrella Digital* , and *La Razón*, among others.

The event is organized by the faculty’s Academic Coordination of Journalism.
