At just 23 years old, he turned a personal idea into an event capable of bringing together global leaders from the business, political, sports, and cultural worlds.
While pursuing his bachelor's degree in Management and Administrationat ORT, González developed an interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.
An academic exchange at Babson College in Boston—one of the world’s most renowned institutions for entrepreneurship—was the final push needed to conceive of a forum that would bring real-life leadership stories to a wide audience.
Upon his return to Uruguay in 2015, he founded the America Business Forum. The first editions were held in a hangar at Carrasco Airport, and the event later moved to Punta del Este. He established an innovative format that combines interviews, audiovisual production, and an experience more akin to a major show than a traditional conference.
Over the years, the forum has grown steadily, attracting thousands of attendees and dozens of international leaders. The event features open discussions on leadership, innovation, and industry-changing decisions, bringing together figures from the worlds of sports, politics, culture, and business.
Today, the project took a major step forward with its launch in Miami, featuring speakers such as Donald Trump and Lionel Messi, and solidifying a vision that originated in Uruguay and aims to connect leaders and audiences around the world.
