The Broken Glass Theory will compete in Gramado

The Uruguayan film *The Broken Glass Theory*, directed by Diego ParkerFernández Pujol, is one of four films selected to compete in the Foreign Feature Film category at the 49th Gramado Film Festival.

Filming took place mainly in the city of Aiguá, in the department of Maldonado. It is a co-production between Argentina and Brazil, which received funding from the ICAU Development Fund for production and from the MVD Audiovisual Fund of the Municipality of Montevideo for post-production.

In addition to directing the film, Fernández Pujol is a co-writer and co-producer. At the university, he teaches in the Bachelor of Communication program with a focus on Audiovisual Studies.

The 49th Gramado Film Festival will take place online from August 13 to 21, 2021.

"The Broken Glass Theory"will open in Uruguayan theaters on August 12.
