The authors are Dr. Norma Castro, Dr. Andrés Cerisola, Dr. Fernando González, and Dr. Laura Ramón, faculty members at ORT’s School of Business and Social Sciences.
The authors' original intention was to develop a textbook for the course "Administrative Regulation and Public Law Institutions" in the Certified Public Accountant and Bachelor of International Studies programs.
However, given its content, it is ultimately of interest to those who wish to understand Uruguay’s institutional framework in general and the regulation of economic activity in particular.
