Universidad ORT Uruguay notable achievements and promotions within the National Researcher System

Academics from the Institute of Education and the Faculty of Architecture achieved significant additions and promotions in the SNI.

In June 2020, Dr. Eduardo Rodríguez Zidán, associate academic coordinator of graduate programs and a member of the Academic Committee for the Doctor of Education program at the Institute of Education, was promoted to Level II of the National System of Researchers (SNI) for a four-year term.

In addition, Dr. (cand.) Andrea Tejera, academic coordinator for Educational Management, professor, and graduate advisor at the Institute of Education, and Dr. Mariela Questa, a graduate professor at the Institute of Education, have been admitted to the SNI at the Initiation level.

In addition, Dr. Gabriel Díaz, who recently joined the Institute as a faculty member, has been admitted to the Introductory level.

Meanwhile, Dr. Laura Moya, an architect and research professor at the School of Architecture, was promoted to Level II of the SNI for a four-year term.

Universidad ORT Uruguay has and researchers classified as active researchers by the National System of Researchers, as designated by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), in the fields of Medical and Health Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Social Sciences/Education Sciences, Humanities, and Engineering and Technology.

Through periodic evaluations, the SNI promotes the classification and financial incentives for researchers, the generation of knowledge across all fields, and the strengthening and expansion of the national scientific community.
