The Latin American Innovation Rally is an international competition designed to promote open innovation among engineering students in Latin America; it is held in teams over a period of 28 consecutive hours.
The competition aims to address challenges based on real-world problems that require creative solutions. These challenges are not limited to the technological field alone but may span various sectors of activity or address social, environmental, organizational, artistic, logistical, or other issues.
The juries at each venue will review the submissions and announce the winners in two categories:
- Innovation: proposals that stand out in terms of innovation.
- Social impact: proposals that stand out for their social impact.

From September 30 to October 1, 2016.
