On July 31, the launch of the university’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) took place at the ORT Centro Auditorium. The presentation was given by Enrique Topolansky, CIE Coordinator, who also highlighted the main achievements of the University-Business Liaison Office (Vincular), a project funded by the Technological Development Program (PDT) in December 2006.

The CIE aims to foster innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset, promote initiatives, and strengthen ties between entrepreneurs, academic units, companies, and support organizations. It offers university students the opportunity to develop innovative ideas and turn them into high-potential businesses, contributing to the development of new ventures that generate employment.

Within the framework of the CIE, the Ferrere Chair conducts workshops on entrepreneurial mindset and the generation of innovative ideas, and organizes the “Entrepreneurs in Network” presentation series, which began on April 27, and Entrepreneurship Week, which will take place from November 16 to 22.

The presentation was given by Enrique Topolansky, Coordinator of the CIE and Vincular. He holds an MBA from ORT University and completed a postgraduate program in University-Business Collaboration at the University of Alicante. Since its founding in 2001, he has participated in INGENIO, the first technology-based incubator created by LATU and ORT University. He is a professor in the Bachelor’s program in Systems and Systems Engineering.
