The School of Graduate and Continuing Education in Communication and Design at Universidad ORT Uruguay officially Universidad ORT Uruguay the Master’s Program in Strategic Design and Innovation, an academic program designed to train change agents capable of addressing current and future challenges through design.
It is the first graduate program of its kind in Uruguay. It combines user experience (UX) design with strategic future design to train professionals capable of leading the transformations and innovations of today’s world through design thinking.
At the event, Sabrina Bianchi, academic secretary of the School of Graduate Studies and professional development, highlighted the evolution of the role of design:

For her part, Giselle Della Mea, a leading figure in sustainable design and a member of the faculty, emphasized that design has the power to shape a more equitable and responsible world:

The master's program combines design thinking, innovation, strategy, and sustainability, preparing professionals to tackle complex problems and foster a positive impact in a constantly evolving global market.
