Students in the Persuasion 1 course of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design —taught by professors María Eugenia Pérez Burger and Lautaro Hourcade— and Advertising and Editorial Design in the Graphic Design program —taught by professor Ramiro Ozer Ami— were selected to participate with their work in the 5th edition of the Poster Exhibition for LGBT+ Rights.
From the submissions sent by Universidad ORT Uruguay, the posters by Valentina Rosas, Matías Ibarra, Magdalena Bonet, Karymé Arocena, Catalina Ercoli, and Gimena Motta from the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design program, as well as works by Lucas Bazán, Melina Curuchet, María Clara Miranda, Tomás Topolanski, Santiago Caffera, and Verónica Molinelli from the Graphic Design program.
The exhibition is part of a series of events taking place during LGBT Pride Week, organized by the Uruguayan design blog Mirá Mamá, in collaboration with the Comisión Amigos del Castillo Idiarte Borda and the Municipality of Montevideo.
The exhibition opened on July 9 and ran through July 18, 2022, at Castillo Idiarte Borda.
