In September 2015, Universidad ORT Uruguay a collection of books focused on risk management and modeling, bringing together cutting-edge materials and a wide variety of reference books on the subject.
This acquisition took place under the auspices of the Chair in Risk Management, with the support of CPA Ferrere, and aims to generate a wide range of intellectual capital and research to improve business practices.
The selection of books covers topics relevant to comprehensive corporate risk management, ranging from risk management in financial institutions—with authors such as Andrea Resti and Andrea Sironi—to credit and operational risk management—with authors such as Carol Alexander and Harry H. Panjer.
With the aim of providing specialized knowledge, the extensive bibliography includes manuals from renowned institutions such as the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO), as well as literature related to international risk certification. All materials are available to students and graduates of Universidad ORT Uruguay.
In this way, the CPA Ferrere Chair in Risk Management is making progress in establishing a specialized program focused on training in risk analysis, modeling, and management.
